1)Thats a very valid point. We will try to get the permission for the
camel logo from O'Reilly Media guys, If we don't get it, I will use
the onion. I guess we might have to put a disclaimer below the site on
the copyright if we get to use the Camel. Do you have any idea about
the rights to the onion logo? In case we have a designer among us it
would be great to get our own logo as well.
2) yeah i guess we should do that. on the list now. collect your beer :)
3)Wiki's not a problem. I will put it in there when we have enough
show of hands here to contribute. I feel we need to go step by step,
so as to not put in too many empty unmaintained sections in the
beginning. We will start with a few sections when we have
pre-identified volunteers with admin controls to moderate and maintain
them and move forward from there. Please feel free to interject if you
disagree on any point.

Abhishek, I think you are right about the camel logo, We should not
launch till we have got the permissions, I will get the permissions
from the logo owners and let you know once we are ready.
cheers!
-Shantanu

As for Perl downloads location, what do you have in mind? modules?(CPAN already does it), clever scripts etc. Acme modules, we can link to those, I write some myself and I can put them up here and we can accept scripts in the forum as well from members, which can be put up on the site if members think its useful. Can you elaborate on this point please?

There is a country wide cleanup of mailing lists going on and it was noted that bangalore pm.org chapter while has a semi active mailing list, it doesn't have a website yet. Hence the Volunteering to build a site. When ready the site address would be bangalore.pm.org. but for now the site can be accessed at the aforementioned IP.
