Hello perl mongers,

For this month's meet we have a talk on

PUGS

Abstract :

Pugs is the only complete implementation of the perl6 specification. It
was originally written in  haskell by Audrey Tang (from Taiwan). Pugs is
now also completely rewritten in perl6 itself. Pugs is a great toy to
experiment perl6 with.

This talk will be delivered by Mr.Isaac Praveen.

Isaac Praveen is a hacker at DeepRoot Linux. He is a Perl/Catalyst
Developer. Also
work on DBIx::Class (an ORM in perl). Have been advocating and using
perl6 as the post-modern language. Also a religious emacs user :)

Contents of the talk :

* Junctions
* functional programming
* macros
* perl 6 syntactic sugars
* demo on using and hacking pugs
* demon on using perl with emacs!
