<br></div>In any event, now is the time to pin down a date and a topic for our next meeting so people can make plans to attend. We can make adjustments as needed. Put the bug in the HostGator contacts ear to see if any of their people are interested in presenting. Maybe lightning talks would be an way to get the ball rolling. <br>

<br><br></div>Tuesday, January 7th? Does that work for HG? I'd like to get an announcement up on the meetup group as soon as possible. Will Matt still be here? I think Reini told me Cpanel has 150 Perl developers. How many does HostGator employ? Would someone there present or lightning talk on how HostGator uses Perl. I imagine mostly for sysadmin work. Are they doing anything with Catalyst?<br>

<div><br></div><div>Also, it is my great pleasure to announce HostGator as our newest sponsor!  Starting in January we'll have 2 meetings per month, one technical meeting at Hostgator's new facility and one social meeting at a restaurant/pub.  Unless there are votes to the contrary, our plan is to continue with Tuesday evenings around 6:30pm starting time.  I'll write back to the mailing list as soon as we nail down dates for the new January meetings.<br>
