<p dir="ltr">I'm newly arrived trying to move here from London. In the London Perlmongers we usually use this as an excuse for a beer, but I don't know if AmsterdamX.pm engages in such excuses for socialising, but it's worth a shot! :)</p>

<p dir="ltr">I have been doing perl for a decade or so now, some of you have met me at conferences and some of you may have even been unfortunate enough to sit through one of my talks. I also work with lots of other technologies, but the perl community is still my favourite.</p>

<p dir="ltr">I'd also be immensely grateful for any advice/introductions about how to rent a flat here, any offers of a place to sleep while I try and do that, directions towards jobs/clients etc. :)</p>
