I suppose there are more dangerous places to go these days, but not
many.
I would be very hesitant to go to Israel any time in the near future
(read: in the next N years where N is > 1). Good luck with their trying
to get attendees.

I'd never considered forwarding the announcements of overseas
conferences, but Gabor specifically requested it. Please let me know if
you find this useful, so I know to forward others, and you may soon see
announcements for conferences in places like China, Brussels and
Argentina.

In February this year there were already several paticipants coming from
overseas. I hope on the next conference we can have a massive presence
of overseas Perl Mongers.

    Please mark your calendars! The organizers of OSDC::Israel are glad
to
    announce that the next conference will be held on 20-22 February
2007.
    There will be additional events such as tutorials and a Perl 6
hackathon
    near the main conference; the exact schedule will be announced in
the
    next month or so.
