(white on white text.) Anyone still subscribed to the list that would be interested in having meetings again? (presuming things are as defunct as they look?) From will at coleda.com Tue Aug 24 22:03:51 2004 From: will at coleda.com (William Coleda) Date: Tue Aug 24 22:04:01 2004 Subject: [Albany-pm] Hello In-Reply-To: <41228C86.9020105@coleda.com> References: <41228C86.9020105@coleda.com> Message-ID: <412C0197.9090508@coleda.com> I've spoken with Dave Cross of pm.org, and he's looking into potentially transferring over the Albany.pm stuff to me. He's trying to track down the original list owner (I hear he's moved out of the area?) I've gotten some feedback from someone involved with Techapalooza, who has proffered some table space. If nothing else, it'll be a good opportunity to get some information about who's interested. I'm probably being over-optimistic, but I'd like to have at least one other person available to man the table. Finally, I've gotten a lead on getting one of the perl6/parrot folks to speak, presuming we ever get that far. *tap tap* Is this thing on? =-) If folks are interested in chatting, there is an albany.pm discussion on the local lily server. For an account, go to http://rpi.lily.org:7780/new/ . Once you get an account and connect, type "/join albany.pm" (there are also discussions on this server for both perl and parrot). (there's a very nice perl client at http://www.centauri.org/tigerlily/ =-) Regards.
