From faber at linuxnj.com Fri Jun 10 07:11:25 2005 From: faber at linuxnj.com (Faber Fedor) Date: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 10:11:25 -0400 Subject: [ABE.pm] perl debugger history? Message-ID: <20050610141125.GA28372@uranus.faber.nom> How does one get a history of commands in the perl debugger (perl -d)? I want to be able to up-arrow to the previous command and edit it. When I RTFM, it says "if you install the Term::ReadKey and Term::ReadLine modules from CPAN, you will have full editing capabilities much like GNU readline(3) provides". Well, they're both installed and I don't have up/down arrows. Left/right seem to work okay. Also, how do I save debugging info (breakpoints, etc.) across debugging sessions? I'm getting tired of setting my breakpoints after I quit the debugger, edit the file and go back into the debugger. -- Regards, Faber Fedor President Linux New Jersey, Inc. 908-320-0357 800-706-0701 http://www.linuxnj.com From phil at five-lawrences.com Fri Jun 10 07:24:53 2005 From: phil at five-lawrences.com (Phil Lawrence) Date: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 10:24:53 -0400 Subject: [ABE.pm] perl debugger history? But under linux I'd assume this was already done for you.
