(*^_^*) From the article: Recently, at a Hardee's in Niles, Mich., a working-class town, Ben Townsend, 27, bit into a Bacon Double Cheese Thickburger -- all 1,300 gooey calories of it, plus fries. Was he worried it might endanger his health? "I've never even thought about it," said Mr. Townsend, who builds homes. "And to be honest, I don't really care. It just tastes good." Gimmee a break. The guy builds houses. He can probably burn 8,000 calories without trying. prl From jce0 at Lehigh.EDU Thu Feb 3 06:45:43 2005 From: jce0 at Lehigh.EDU (Jim Eshleman) Date: Thu Feb 3 06:46:06 2005 Subject: [ABE.pm] giant beef sandwich In-Reply-To: <20050203140834.GD18984@manxome.org> References: <20050203140834.GD18984@manxome.org> Message-ID: <42023917.6070708@Lehigh.EDU> Ric wrote: > I saw this article and thought of Phil: > http://brandautopsy.typepad.com/brandautopsy/2005/02/bigger_burgers_.html Yum :-) I heard Phil inhaled The Pounder at Fuddruckers and the event was thus memorialized forever with his picture on the Wall Of Fame. And, as has been well-substantiated, Phil's co-worker also handled the "pounder" w/o a problem. So, when Jim heard he was being treated to a Fuddrucker's lunch, he was all geared-up for his try at the "pounder". Alas, upon his return yesterday, we learned that he didn't make the A-team with Phil and Brian ... just the "pounder / 2" team. I guess it's real, but... uhhh... what's that about a 100 lb. girl from Jersey eating the whole thing? Wacky. When I went to install it via the CPAN module, it failed because Tk.pm wasn't installed. No biggie, I thought, I've done this before. This time, TK failed to install (the tail of the messages is posted below). From what little I could find on the internets [sic] this isn't unusual, but I couldn't find a solution. So, two questions: 1. When ptkdb didn't find Tk.pm installed, it failed instead of asking me if it should install ("follow"?) the dependencies. How do I re-init the CPAN module to install the dependencies but asking me at each step? 2. How do I install Tk.pm? I'll be happy to force it, I just don't know how.
